Harvesting and cultivation of ingenious, endemic, rare and culturally significant plant species

Project objectives and aims

This project forms part of a more comprehensive nursery project and entails the wild harvesting and cultivation of rare and special plant species found on Zuka Private Game Reserve. The purpose of the study is to enable the study of these plants in controlled conditions such as; flowering times, growing conditions, etc. Our long-term goal is to map and monitor wild plant populations.
